note.gifThe best way to save money is to use coupons, however, matching coupons and sales is time consuming! As teachers you know that time is limited. There are many websites which will do this for you, such as www.couponmom.com. You don't even have to buy Sunday's newspaper to get coupons because there are so many website you can go to a print coupons FREE, such as:"

note.gif Don't forget the most important TAX Deduction of all time! Teachers get $250 deduction whether you itemize or not. Keep all of your receipts for everything for buy for your classroom from paper clips to books and computer software.

note.gif Always keep a "$20 Bargain Bill" in your wallet. Don't use it for anything else but a great bargain. This has saved me hundreds of dollars. I have bought Colgate 6.4 oz Tartar Control Whitening toothpaste tubes for 90 cents a tube with in-store coupons(regular price $2.40). When I come across a bargain like this I buy $20 worth. I saved $30 plus I'll have toothpaste for a long time. Don't forget to replace your "$20 Bargain Bill", so that you will be ready for the next bargain!

note.gifOne of the most cost effective ways to provide pencils for my students to borrow is to order pencils with a special message such as " Mrs. Resendez' Technology Lab Pencils". It really works and my pencils don't disappear any more! I have even had students who do walk off with them, come back to my lab to return my pencil. Before ordering pencils from ForTeachersOnly.com I was going crazy trying to figure out which pencils were mine.
